Bella

Bio

Bella is an EDM artist, producer, and classically trained percussionist hailing from Broward County, Florida. Growing up in a musically vibrant household, Bella was immersed in a variety of sounds from an early age. With a mother who sang in the church choir and a father who was a huge music enthusiast, Bella was introduced to Jazz, Neo Soul, Hiphop, and most importantly: House Music. Inspired by their parents, they would join the school band in middle school and unknowingly began their pathway to musicianship. Bella would discover Dubstep, Jungle, and Future Bass around the same time and would often daydream about performing and creating their own mixes. After attending their first rave at 17, they garnered a deep love and appreciation for EDM and would become immersed in that world entirely. Today, Bella performs both EDM live sets and Synthesizer sets, with a focus on creating unforgettable auditory experiences. Having expanded their musical prowess, audience members can expect to hear a range of sounds from percussion, vocals, electric and bass guitar, as well as surprise appearances from a range of musical guests. They also seek to facilitate healing and community by encouraging audience members by bringing PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect) back to the dance floor. What sets Bella’s music apart is a unique approach that blends rhythmic complexity with melodic intricacy. Friends describe their compositions as being written with a drummer's mindset, showcasing a love for polyrhythms, arpeggios, and complex drum patterns. Bella’s ultimate goal is to create worlds and atmospheres through immersive soundscapes that push creative boundaries and ultimately redefine the EDM landscape.
