Privacy Policy

Touring Tools ("we," "us") helps independent performing artists manage touring operations. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language for our public beta — it is not legal advice.

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, password (stored securely by our auth provider), and profile fields you enter (artist name, bio, links, business details, and similar).
  • Content you create: EPKs, riders, show records, invoices, uploaded photos and documents, and other material you save in the app.
  • Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe — we do not store full card details on our servers.
  • Usage and technical data: basic logs needed to run the service (for example, errors, request metadata, and EPK view counts where enabled).

How we use your data

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Touring Tools.
  • Authenticate you and enforce account security.
  • Generate PDFs and public pages you choose to publish.
  • Process subscriptions and one-time purchases through Stripe.
  • Respond to support requests and fix bugs.

We do not sell your personal data.

Where your data is stored

Account and app data are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, and file storage). Files you upload (photos, logos, tax documents, and similar) live in Supabase Storage with access controls.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data they collect directly. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription tier and payment status) to unlock features in the app.

Sharing with service providers

We share data only with vendors that help us operate the product — for example Supabase (hosting and auth), Stripe (payments), our hosting provider, and email delivery if we contact you about your account. They may only use data to provide services to us, subject to their own policies and our instructions.

Public content

When you publish an EPK or share a public link, the content you marked as public is visible to anyone with the URL. Keep private business or remittance details out of published pages unless you intend to share them.

Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security in our database) but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Your choices

  • Export: signed-in users can download a machine-readable export of account data from Settings (also available at /api/export/account while authenticated).
  • Deletion: you may delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your profile and associated app data subject to our backup and legal retention limits.
  • Updates: you can edit most profile and content fields directly in the dashboard.

Beta note

Touring Tools is in public beta. Features, data handling, and this policy may change as we ship improvements. We will update the "Last updated" date when we make material changes.
